• SmackDown Star Re-Signs With WWE Until 2030
Chelsea Green was released by WWE in the spring of 2021. She made her return to the company under Triple H’s leadership during the 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble Match. Since then, she has become one of the most entertaining acts in the Women’s division and earned the trust of WWE management.
According to Fightful Select, Chelsea Green signed a new five-year contract with WWE that will keep her with the company until 2030. While news of her re-signing broke earlier this year, the exact length of the deal has now been confirmed.
The report also noted that Green was originally under a three-year deal that began in late 2022 and was set to expire at the end of 2025. WWE decided to lock the first-ever Women’s United States Champion down early, approaching her well before the contract ran out. The two sides finalized a new agreement in January, ensuring Green remains a key part of the roster for years to come.
The 34-year-old star is currently a part of SmackDown, where she runs The Secret Hervice.
• “I’m tired of people saying I’m just an entrance or that I ain’t got the skills” – Jey Uso Fires Back At Critics
Jey Uso has been one of the most popular solo stars in WWE since leaving The Bloodline in 2023. His “Main Event” run and crowd-popping entrance have made him a fan favorite across every arena he steps into.
But not everyone is on board with his current push. Some fans have voiced frustration online, saying Jey shouldn’t be in the World Title picture and that WWE should give newer names a chance. The criticism grew louder after he won a Battle Royal on RAW last week to earn a match against CM Punk for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Speaking on the RAW Recap podcast, Jey addressed the recent change in his attitude and fired back at those who claim he’s only over because of his entrance.
“I mean, nothing really changed on me, Uce. You know, I still have fun. I still throw a party every Monday. I still like the kids, man. I still YEET with them. It’s just, man, when the bell rings, I just got to switch modes now.
If I’m trying to get to the top, I got big hitters in front of me – guys like CM Punk, Gunther, Seth Rollins. I just can’t play no more, man.
I’m tired of people saying I’m just an entrance or that I ain’t got the skills to hold it down up top. So I switched modes. Maybe it’s a bit of that old Bloodline mindset coming back, but that mentality got the job done before.”
• Mark Henry Wasn’t Happy With WWE Star Treating The World’s Strongest Slam Like A Regular Move
Mark Henry takes a lot of pride in his finishing move, the World’s Strongest Slam. During his Hall of Pain run in WWE, it was one of the most protected finishers in the company.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Henry revealed that he spoke with former Money In The Bank winner Otis after seeing him use the move in one of his matches. The former World Heavyweight Champion made it clear he didn’t want his finisher treated like just another spot.
“I talked to Otis. I said, ‘Yo, man, don’t use my finish as a high spot. If you’re going to use it, use it to put somebody in jeopardy for you to win or have them roll out and you can’t get to him.’”
Henry also recently voiced frustration about AEW renaming the move to the Most Dangerous Slam, calling it disrespectful and saying it was done to downplay his legacy.
