• SmackDown Wrestler Returns On RAW, Shelton Benjamin Wins 1st Title In WWE After 12 Years
In a backstage segment on tonight’s episode of RAW, MVP was telling 24/7 Champion R-Truth that he’s the new United States Champion.
R-Truth said Apollo Crews is still the US Champion and then suddenly got attacked from behind by Shelton Benjamin, who has now officially joined MVP’s Hurt Business stable.
Benjamin brought a referee with him and pinned R-Truth to win the WWE 24/7 Championship.
This is Shelton’s first title win in WWE after 12 years. He last won the United States Championship back in 2008.
MVP, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin then went to the ring and got interrupted by Ricochet & Cedric Alexander, who brought another partner with them – Mustafa Ali.
