The following details were provided in the lawsuit filed against Vince McMahon by former WWE employee Janel Grant:

“On August 28, 2020, Ms. Grant texted McMahon that she was injured during their latest $exual encounter, as a result of McMahon’s insistence on penetrating Ms. Grant with ‘extra-large’ $ex toys, including a vibrating wand that caused her to panic.

McMahon ignored Ms. Grant’s warning that the device was not meant for insertion and forcefully shoved the wand inside of her so deeply that it became stuck for a period.

She texted she was in pain and ‘bleeding a lot between last night and today’ and ‘I’m on the floor right now bcuz I can’t get comfortable’ and on August 29, 2020, she texted him an update that she was ‘still really uncomfortable’ and ‘I got hurt in some way that I’m having trouble describing.’

McMahon did apologize, saying that ‘Sometimes I just get carried away’.”

A spokesperson for TKO Group Holdings issued the following statement to Variety regarding the new Vince McMahon allegations:

“Mr. McMahon does not control TKO nor does he oversee the day-to-day operations of WWE.

While this matter predates our TKO executive team’s tenure at the company, we take Ms. Grant’s horrific allegations very seriously and are addressing this matter internally.”

Ann Callis of Holland Law Firm is representing Janel. Below is the statement that Callis issued:

“Today’s complaint seeks to hold accountable two WWE executives who $exually assaulted and trafficked Plaintiff Janel Grant, as well as the organization that facilitated or turned a blind eye to the abuse and then swept it under the rug.

She is an incredibly private and courageous person who has suffered deeply at the hands of Mr. McMahon and Mr. Laurinaitis.

Ms. Grant hopes that her lawsuit will prevent other women from being victimized. The organization is well aware of Mr. McMahon’s history of depraved behavior, and it’s time that they take responsibility for the misconduct of its leadership.”
