• AEW has let go some low-level wrestlers recently, after letting their contracts expire and not renew them.

The latest wrestler to depart from All Elite Wrestling is Brock Anderson, son of WWE Hall of Famer Arn Anderson.

Brock’s contract expired and Tony Khan didn’t renew it. Brock’s last match in AEW took place on the August 12th episode of Collision, where he lost to Luchasaurus in a TNT Championship match.

Brock confirmed his departure with the following tweet:

“To those that’ve supported me and helped me THANK YOU. To my detractors, that’s your right to an opinion. All I can do, to quote Dustin Rhodes is, ‘Keep Steppin’. On to the next chapter…”

• There were rumors that CM Punk would appear at Saturday’s IMPACT Wrestling Bound For Glory PPV, but that didn’t happen.

However, he attended the IMPACT TV tapings on Sunday. According to Haus Of Wrestling, Punk was taken to the locker room, where he talked to anyone who wanted to spend time with him, including key IMPACT talent.

Punk’s good friend Ace Steel worked as a Backstage Producer at Bound For Glory.
