TNA star Alex Hammerstone was spotted at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando ahead of tonight’s episode of WWE NXT.
According to Fightful Select, Hammerstone is expected to be the mystery opponent for NXT North American Champion Oba Femi on tonight’s show. The NXT Anonymous account showed Tony D’Angelo paying off an unidentified person to deal with Femi.
Sources suggest Hammerstone and Femi were seen rehearsing for the match, making him a likely candidate for the surprise.
Hammerstone, a former MLW World Champion, signed with TNA in early 2024, and his appearance could be part of the ongoing NXT-TNA partnership.
