Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, featuring Royal Rumble 2025 and Cody Rhodes.

• Speculation is heating up around a potential surprise entrant in this year’s Women’s Royal Rumble match, as rumors suggest Jordynne Grace might make her official WWE debut in the highly anticipated match.

Grace, who recently wrapped up her time with TNA, reportedly worked her final match for the promotion at their Genesis pay-per-view in Dallas, Texas, where she lost to Tessa Blanchard.

According to PWInsider, Grace was spotted at the WWE Performance Center earlier this week, fueling speculation about her WWE future. While her presence at the facility was reportedly brief, sources within WWE creative circles strongly believe she will participate in the 30-woman Royal Rumble match on February 1st.

This wouldn’t be Grace’s first appearance for WWE—she competed in last year’s Women’s Royal Rumble match, impressing WWE officials with her performance. Adding to the intrigue, TNA has officially removed Grace from their roster page, further indicating her departure.

Despite these developments, WWE has not yet confirmed Grace’s signing.

• Sheamus recently shared his thoughts on Cody Rhodes’ bold decision to get a neck tattoo of the “American Nightmare” logo. Speaking on The Masked Men Show, The Celtic Warrior offered his candid, lighthearted take on the tattoo, which Rhodes debuted ahead of his match against MJF at AEW Revolution 2020.

Rhodes had previously explained that the tattoo symbolized his pride in his personal brand, stating he wanted to “wear it loudly”. However, Sheamus joked that he couldn’t imagine making a similar choice.

“I hope he had about 20 bourbons before he made that decision,” Sheamus quipped. When asked how much encouragement he’d need to do the same, he replied, “You’re talking about the thousands, mate. I would die of liver and kidney failure before that happened.”

Sheamus went on to acknowledge the deeply personal nature of such decisions, noting that individual expression is part of what makes people unique. That said, he humorously pointed out how his family would react if he followed suit:

“My dad alone, my family would ridicule me and laugh at me. Forget about the public response!”

While Sheamus’ comments were made in jest, they highlight the distinct and unapologetic personality that Cody Rhodes brings to the wrestling world—a trait that continues to resonate with fans.
