Below are a couple of top news stories of the day, featuring Stephanie Vaquer and Stephanie McMahon.

NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer’s ex-boyfriend, El Cuatrero, who was arrested following her accusations of domestic violence, has been released from prison and is now addressing his situation publicly.

In March 2023, Vaquer filed a complaint against Cuatrero, alleging he choked her and slammed her against a wall. This led to his arrest and a halt to his wrestling career.

Recently, Cuatrero appeared on Sanson NGD’s YouTube channel, alongside his lawyers, to provide an update. The discussion focused primarily on his future plans, rather than the specifics of the ongoing legal case.

While released, Cuatrero is still under strict legal conditions, including a no-contact order with Stephanie Vaquer, a travel ban, and a temporary prohibition on wrestling. He confirmed he’s “not wearing an ankle bracelet,” but acknowledged the case is ongoing. His legal team is working to clear a path for his return to wrestling, and Cuatrero claims he maintained his training while incarcerated.

Vaquer’s name was notably absent from the video, and detailed case information was avoided. Cuatrero’s camp stated the video’s purpose was to “thank fans for their support” and “clear up doubts” about his current status.
