Old School WCW Legend Sting turned 64 today and he’s still going at it in the ring!

AEW President Tony Khan has announced that Sting will team up with Darby Allin & AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy to take on Kip Sabian, The Butcher & The Blade in a Trios Match on this Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite:

Live on TBS

AEW International Champion @orangecassidy, @DarbyAllin & @Sting vs @TheKipSabian, Butcher & @BladeofBuffalo

After a backstage attack & challenge made at #AEWHouseRules, Orange & Darby have chosen their partner: STING.”

Tony also thanked Sting for being a part of his promotion:

“Happy Birthday Sting!

Thank you for continuing to grace this sport with your iconic presence! We’re all blessed to have you here in AEW, and we’re all excited to see you team for the first time ever with Orange Cassidy + Darby Allin on AEW Dynamite on TBS this Wednesday night!”

Sting’s last match in AEW took place at the Full Gear PPV on November 19th 2022. After that, he competed at NOAH Great Muta Final “Bye-Bye” event on January 22nd 2023.

The 2016 WWE Hall of Famer’s record in All Elite Wrestling is 13-0.
