• Stone Cold Steve Austin Thinks SmackDown Star Will “Ascend To A Higher Level”
During a recent interview with WrestleRant, WWF Legend Stone Cold Steve Austin spoke about current WWE SmackDown Superstar LA Knight and his potential to become a main eventer in the future.
Here’s what the 2009 WWE Hall of Famer had to say:
“I said ‘hey man, make sure your cardio is supreme’ and I said ‘just go do you’.
So that guy can talk a blue streak. He’s a great worker. He’s got a good look, good energy.
So I think he’s doing great. I think he can ascend to a higher level, and I think he will. So I think the guy’s doing awesome.”
LA Knight wrestles professionally since 2003 and was best known for his 2015-2019 run with IMPACT Wrestling as Eli Drake, before he joined WWE in February 2021.

On this day in 2000, the World Wrestling Federation aired an episode of their weekly syndicated TV show ‘WWF Jakked’ (night version) aka ‘WWF Metal’ (afternoon version).
The show was pre-taped at the Raleigh Entertainment & Sports Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina and featured mid-card matches on the road to the ‘WWF Backlash 2000’ PPV.
