• “Stop supporting a company that has ZERO respect for their talent” – Former WWE Wrestler

Taya Valkyrie (fka Franky Monet in NXT) was recently released from WWE. Tonight, her husband John Morrison got released as well.

She went on to tweet the following after 8 wrestlers got released today:

“Yooooo F**KKKKK them.

Stop supporting a company that has ZERO respect for their talent. You love pro wrestling, spend your money on the hundreds of other alternatives.

This is wrong. Ethically, as employers they don’t care about us. Talent or fans.

I said what I said, agree or disagree. Now back to your regularly scheduled programming!!! And rebuilding our empire.”

Below is the list of wrestlers that got released today:

– John Morrison

– Top Dolla (Hit Row)

– Isaiah Swerve Scott (Hit Row)

– Ashante Adonis (Hit Row)

– Tegan Nox

– Drake Maverick (John Cena impressed with his post-release message, tap here to read)

– Shane Thorne

– Jaxson Ryker

John Laurinaitis (Head of WWE Talent Relations) mentioned the usual “budget cuts” as the reason for releases in the email sent to wrestlers.
