Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that he was told by one of his sources that former WWE & WCW World Heavyweight Champion Goldberg might come out after the SummerSlam 2016 main event to challenge Brock Lesnar.
During an interview at the WWE 2K17 Launch Party, Brock Lesnar was asked what would happen if Goldberg shows up this Sunday at SummerSlam 2016. Lesnar said he would say nothing and just take Goldberg to Suplex City:
