4. Tony Schiavone
Most people remember Tony Schiavone (born on November 7, 1957) for being the voice of Ted Turner’s WCW World Championship Wrestling promotion.
Who could forget him announcing and spoiling the WWF RAW IS WAR results on WCW Monday Nitro during the famous Monday Night wars?
But only very few people remember that Schiavone once jumped ship to the competition to be a WWF announcer, which he was from April 1989 till early 1990.
His WWF run is mostly remembered for him being on commentary during the WWF SummerSlam 1989 & WWF Royal Rumble 1990 PPVs, doing play by play commentary, while Jesse “The Body” Ventura did color commentary.
Tony also did a couple of backstage interviews at WWF WrestleMania V.
