If TNA ever created a professional wrestling Superstar, it would without a shadow of a doubt be “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles (born June 2, 1977), who wrestled for them as a loyal TNA Original from 2002 till late 2013.
But does anyone actually remember him wrestling for the World Wrestling Federation ???
He did have an untelevised Dark Match before the July 9, 2001 episode of WWF RAW IS WAR during the days of the infamous Invasion Storyline, but also made it to WWF TV a few months later, losing to The Hurricane on the January 26, 2002 episode of WWF Metal.
In yet another untelevised dark match before a RAW taping, AJ did the job for then WWF developmental Wrestler Rico.
After 14 years, AJ Styles finally made his official debut for WWE at the 2016 Royal Rumble.
But anyway, not many people remember him in the WWF (as opposed to the WWE).
