On this day in 1996, Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WCW Saturday Night’.

• Survivor Series Replacements Announced

On tonight’s episode of RAW, the team of RAW Women’s Champion Asuka, Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke defeated the team of Lana, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler.

During the match, Nia & Shayna hurt Mandy, and later in a backstage segment, RECKONING (Mia Yim from RETRIBUTION) attacked Dana Brooke.

The commentators later announced that both Mandy & Dana are injured and have been pulled from the RAW Women’s Survivor Series team.

Later during a backstage interview with Charly Caruso, WWE Official Adam Pearce announced that Peyton Royce & Lacey Evans will replace Mandy & Dana at Survivor Series.
