• “Thank you Jeff Hardy for truly inspiring me” – AEW Wrestler

The legendary Jeff Hardy is trending on Social Media today, due to his release from WWE.

While nothing has been officially announced by either WWE or Jeff, multiple sources have reported that Jeff is dealing with his old issues again and he refused help from WWE regarding going to rehab, which resulted in his release.

AEW wrestler Lio Rush tweeted the following after hearing the news about Hardy’s release:

“Thank you Jeff Hardy for truly inspiring me. If it weren’t for you, there would be no me in this world of professional wrestling. Thank you for your hunger, your passion, your dedication and your loyalty to your family. Praying for you. Praying for them. #ForTheBest”

As we noted earlier, WWE Champion Big E tweeted the following about Hardy:

“Jeff Hardy is so beloved by his fans and his peers. I’ve never heard a negative word about him & he’s always treated me with such kindness. Just wishing him and his family the very best.”

United States Champion Damian Priest tweeted the following:

“I think the world of Jeff Hardy. Nothing but positive thoughts and we’ll wishes to this good a kind soul. 🙏 ”

Priest & Hardy had some matches with each other this year, with Hardy putting over Priest.

Jeff said the following about Damian a few months ago:

“I am such a huge fan of him. He has been on fire lately, man. We actually got to team and it was amazing. So, yeah he reminds me of my younger self so that’s what’s kinda scary and intimidating and all that good stuff that creates a wonderful match.”
