Below are a couple of WWE news stories from this past Friday’s SmackDown:
– WWE Ruthless Aggression Era Veteran The Boogeyman took to Twitter (X) and revealed that he attended the most recent episode of SmackDown, where he was spotted without his famous makeup.
Here’s what The Boogeyman tweeted:
“Thank you WWE CEO Vince McMahon and Paul Levesque Triple H for making me forever young.”

After being cut from WWE Tough Enough for lying about his real age, and wrestling at WWE’s then-developmental-territoy Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) for about a year, The Boogeyman made his WWE debut in October 2005 after months of weekly Vignettes about him.
He was the first and only wrestler to ever swallow living worms on television, which is still a unique selling proposition, but not something everyone really wants to see.
The Boogeyman was eventually let go in March 2009 but made countless WWE appearances ever since and ended up signing a ‘WWE Legends Deal’ in 2015 that included official WWE merchandise like T-shirts and Mattel action figures.
– The Rock returned to WWE on Friday’s SmackDown and made the crowd chant “you are an a$$hole” at Austin Theory.
This fan chant was censored on TV in the US (but aired uncensored in international markets).
According to Fightful Select, this chant was censored on US TV to avoid an FCC violation (which would prevent its broadcast), and had nothing to do with WWE shows having a TV-PG rating.
