The Elite’s Reaction To CM Punk Wanting To Bury The Hatchet

CM Punk returned to AEW back in June, on the debut episode of Collision, after being out of action for 9 months.

He suffered a torn left triceps in the main event of All Out 2022 and then got into a brawl with The Elite later that night.

Since Punk’s return, the two sides have been kept away from each other. Punk works Collision and The Elite works Dynamite. The only Dynamite Punk worked after his return didn’t feature The Elite.

The two sides were also kept in different portions of the building when they were all booked for the Forbidden Door 2 pay-per-view.

According to Fightful Select, Punk claims to people that he talks to that he still wants to sit down with Kenny Omega, “Hangman” Adam Page and The Young Bucks to bury the hatchet, but they refuse to talk to him.

The report also states that Page tries to avoid the situation and hasn’t been interested in working with Punk since last year.

People on Page’s side believe that Punk’s promo shooting on him wasn’t a work, but people who are a part of Collision think that Punk is trying to work himself into an angle.

Those close to The Elite stated that The Elite wants to distance themselves more from Punk due to such situations.
