Arguaby the greatest Boxer of all time, Muhammad Ali was the 2nd outside referee during the Main Event of the very first WrestleMania Event in 1995.
9. David Arquette
Hollywood actor David Arquette (“Scream”) actually became the WCW World Heavyweight Champion on an episode of WCW Thunder in 2000, a very controversial decision made by arguably the worst booker in Professional Wrestling History, Vince Russo.
That way he even main evented the WCW Slamboree 2000 PPV, where he dropped the belt to Jeff Jarrett in a Triple-Cage match, a stipulation from the WCW movie “Ready To Rumble” that he played the central character in.
8. Donald Trump
2016 Presidential Candidate Donald Trump has quite a History with the WWF/WWE, first being the host of WWF WrestleMania IV and WWF WrestleMania V at his Trump Plaza Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
In 2007 he was part of the WWE WrestleMania 23 co-Main Event, where his representative Bobby Lashley got the win over Vince McMahon’s Umaga in what was billed as “The Battle of the Billionaires”, causing the loser Vince McMahon to get his head shaved bald.
In 2009 Donald Trump purchased the weekly WWE RAW Show from Vince, but sold it back to him a few weeks later for twice the price he bought it for.
Regardless of anyone’s political views (Keep them to yourself!), Trump’s a very deserving Celebrity Wing Hall of Famer … now whether there should even be a Celebrity Wing within the WWE Hall of Fame is a whole another story though.
7. Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Arguably the greatest active Boxer on the planet today, Floyd Mayweather defeated The Big Show via Knockout in a No Disqualification match at WWE WrestleMania 24 in 2008.
Partially due to this Boxer vs. Wrestler match, WrestleMania 24 is considered one of the best drawing WrestleManias with one of the biggest buyrates of all time.
