How many Wrestlers do you know, who won the World Heavyweight Championship in their first match??
The Giant (Big Show in WCW) did just that.
And it wasn’t against anyone!
The Giant challenged “The Immortal” Hulk Hogan for the WCW World Title on October 29th 1995 at the WCW Halloween Havoc 1995 PPV.
Hulk Hogan was disqualified but due to a special clause in the contract, the title did change hands via DQ that night.
Winning the World Title from Hulk Hogan in his very first official Professional Wrestling match, is an accomplishment, nobody can ever take away from The Big Show.
