Below are a couple of top news stories of the day, featuring Hardy Boyz and Ezekiel Jackson.

• TNA Sacrifice, held on March 14th, proved to be a physically demanding event, resulting in injuries to several wrestlers and impacting their availability for future appearances. Medical updates were provided by TNA broadcaster Gia Miller, revealing a range of ailments.

Matt Hardy was among those sidelined, undergoing evaluation for a deviated septum. He was subsequently deemed unable to compete. Jeff Hardy also suffered a lower-body injury, leading to his medical disqualification.

Conversely, Alisha Edwards was able to navigate concussion protocol and received medical clearance. Mustafa Ali, who was examined for a potential jaw injury, was also cleared to compete. Lei Ying Lee sustained a perforated eardrum but was likewise cleared. Mike Santana, despite a left-hand injury, received medical clearance.

However, TNA X-Division Champion Moose was not as fortunate. He suffered a hip injury and was declared medically unfit to compete.

The Hardy Boyz recently defeated NXT Tag Team Champions Fraxiom at Roadblock. Matt said the following about their future after the match:

“As of right now, our little run with NXT is wrapped. We do have some stuff on our schedule to do with WWE a little later on down the road. Nothing specifically with NXT yet, but… just stuff. I’m gonna leave it at that right now. We have stuff lined up with WWE.”

• Former WWE Superstar Ezekiel Jackson has made a return to in-ring action after almost 10 years away from the squared circle. Having teased a comeback last year, Jackson officially stepped back into the ring on Saturday night.

Jackson made his comeback at the FWE Full Throttle event in North Carolina. He competed in a triple threat match for the FWE Heavyweight Championship, facing off against Psycho Boy Fodder and Sylvain, but failed to win. This marked his first official match since October 2015, signaling his return to active competition.

Jackson’s journey in professional wrestling began in 2007 when he signed with WWE and began working in Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) under the name Rycklon.

He made his main roster debut in 2008 as Brian Kendrick’s bodyguard on the ECW brand. Notably, he holds the distinction of being the final ECW Champion under the WWE banner.

He later joined The Corre, a rebranded version of The Nexus, and went on to capture the Intercontinental Championship before his departure in 2014. Jackson also had brief stints in TNA and Lucha Underground.

In recent years, he has focused on training the next generation of wrestlers through his wrestling school, Bryckhouse Pro Wrestling.
