Below are some top WWE news stories of the day, involving The Hurricane and The Undertaker.
• Shane Helms, better known as The Hurricane, remains a fan favorite despite never being a main event star in WWE.
The 50-year-old is signed to a WWE Legends contract, ensuring his appearance in video games and merchandise. However, he has yet to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
When asked about this on X, Helms took a shot at WWE Officials for being ‘marks’:
“No doubt in my mind either. But this biz notoriously discredits people that utilized comedy, even at the level of success that I had.
The tough guy act, which is the simplest and easiest to do, gets all the praise. The marks aren’t always just in the crowd.”

• The Undertaker, known for maintaining his character and rarely breaking kayfabe during his wrestling career, once stepped out of his “Deadman” persona to care for his future wife, Michelle McCool, during a trip in Europe. It should be noted that they weren’t dating at this time.
On an episode of Undertaker’s Six Feet Under podcast titled “Undertaker Broke Kayfabe To Save Michelle McCool’s Life”, McCool shared how she became extremely ill due to severe dehydration while on an overseas WWE tour in Ireland.
Despite being on separate buses — one for the good guys and one for the bad guys — Undertaker stayed with her after learning about her condition.
In addition, while she rested in the medic room, Undertaker turned away visitors and gave her his iconic entrance coat to keep warm. He even entered his match without the legendary garment, prioritizing McCool’s well-being.
Undertaker said:
“My future queen needed to be taken care of.”
Michelle noted that her condition was so bad that she almost died. Later when she returned home in the US, Taker called her to check how she’s doing.
Michelle thought that was weird and sensed that Taker might have a crush on her. Taker then said he was just checking to see how his co-worker, who was severely ill, was doing.
