• The McMahons Announce A “New Authority” For RAW

Vince McMahon kicked off tonight’s post-TLC 2018 edition of RAW and he introduced Stephanie McMahon, Triple H & Shane McMahon.

It should be noted that Triple H is no longer wearing a sling in his arm.

Triple H noted that RAW & SmackDown will now be run by these 4 people standing in the ring and promises people will see new Superstars and new matches that they want to see from now on, because now the fans are “The Authority”.

They get interrupted by Baron Corbin. Corbin is no longer the RAW General Manager after his loss to Braun Strowman last night at TLC 2018 PPV.

Corbin said what happened with him at TLC 2018 wasn’t fair and that they need to talk. We’re 10 minutes into the show and we go to a commercial.

We come back from commercial and the crowd is booing Corbin big time. Corbin wants the McMahons to right the wrong and put him incharge of RAW once again.

The McMahons reject Corbin’s request. However, Triple H notes that Vince has come up with an idea and another chance for Corbin.

Triple H says if Corbin can win his match tonight, he’ll become the permanent General Manager of RAW and his opponent is….KURT ANGLE!!!

Before leaving, Stephanie announces that Heath Slater is the special guest referee for this match.

While the match between Corbin & Angle was going on, Triple H interrupted and noted that he forgot to inform this match is a Handicap match!

This led to RAW Tag Team Champions Bobby Roode & Chad Gable and Apollo Crews coming out and teaming up against Corbin in a 4 on 1 Handicap match!

Corbin tries to escape, but he gets stopped. Shane McMahon now interrupts and says the match is a No DQ match.

Now Slater (the referee) is attacking Corbin as well and Corbin is now getting attacked with Steel Chairs.

Roode & Gable hit their Neckbreaker-Moonsault finisher on Corbin, followed by Crews’ Frog Splash and then an Angle Slam by the Hall of Famer and then Angle pins Corbin to pick up the win.

Corbin is done as an authority figure on RAW once and for all. Angle then Angle Slammed Corbin through a Table to end this segment!
