• “The only reason why you still have a job is because I never exposed you” – Alberto Del Rio To Paige
Last year, former WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio was charged with aggravated kidnapping and four counts of $exual assault against his ex-fiancee.
While speaking on GAW TV, former WWE Divas Champion Paige opened up about how Del Rio used to abuse her physically when they were in a relationship.
Below is what she said:
“I’ve never spoken about it before, whether podcasts or interviews, I always stayed away. But now it’s completely out there. I’m like, ‘why am I shying away from this? Why am I not brave enough to talk about it?’
In the beginning, you’re fighting back with this person. But in the end, it becomes a cycle. Eventually, something is happening to you every day.
You could be trapped in a room for 6-7 hours, getting your a$$ beat every couple of minutes. And he’s doing all these crazy things to you.”
Paige added that she never calls Del Rio by his name and never will.
“Because he’s Voldemort to me. He needs whatever is happening to him. Karma is a real thing.”
She said the following about why she never talked about Del Rio physically abusing her before.
“I wanted to stay away from the Internet victim blame. Even if I don’t say anything, they’d be like, ‘It’s partly your fault and ABC reasons why [you’re going through stuff]. Or I would be told all this stuff never happened, it was all your imagination.
Now it’s all out there. And you put out what you receive. And right now, he’s receiving it.”
Del Rio was recently interviewed by SK Wrestling and here’s what he had to say about Paige’s comments:
“We had a confidential agreement, [Paige] and I, for $1 million. That’s the reason why I never, ever said anything. Even when your family, your brothers were poking and poking and poking me to provoke me and make me talk so you guys could come and collect that million dollars.
I didn’t do it, but thank you, seriously thank you so much for being so…let’s call it naive…and breaching that confidential agreement, because now enough is enough. And everybody knows who am I talking about. Enough is enough.
You’re lucky. You should be saying, ‘Thank you, Alberto,’ because the only reason why you still have a job is because I never exposed you. I never told the truth about what really happened. The real story, not the bullsh*t story that you and I gave to the media and the companies to protect you from losing your job.
Right now, I can say there was only one person being arrested for domestic violence three different times – San Antonio, Vegas, and Orlando – and it wasn’t me. I never got arrested for any domestic violence when we were together.”

Today would have been the 92nd birthday of Old School Wrestling Legend Dick the Bruiser (Real name: William Afflis).
He was a huge name during the territory days of the 50s, 60s, 70s & 80s.
He was posthumously inducted into the WCW Hall of Fame during the ‘WCW Slamboree 1994’ PPV and later into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2021 as part of their annual “Legacy Wing” inductions.
