• The Rock Credits Famous Actor For Getting Him Started In Hollywood

Old School WWF Legend Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is now considered the #1 actor in Hollywood, famously starring in blockbuster movies such as Pain & Gain, Jumanji, Baywatch, Black Adam, several parts of the Fast & Furious franchise, Skyscraper, San Andreas, … and many others.

However, the son of fellow WWF Legend Rocky Johnson got his first ever role for an actual Hollywood film in 2001, when he had a brief appearance as ‘The Scorpion King’ in the movie The Mummy Returns, that featured Brendan Fraser portraying the main character of ‘Rick O’Connell’.

After Fraser got praised for his recent movie The Whale, The Rock took to Twitter to congratulate him, by tweeting the following:

“Man this makes me so happy to see this beautiful ovation for Brendan. He supported me coming into his Mummy Returns franchise for my first ever role, which kicked off my Hollywood career.

Rooting for all your success brother and congrats to my bud Darren Aronofsky. #TheWhale”
