• The Rock Names The Most Important Match In WWF/WWE History

The history of the World Wrestling Federation / World Wrestling Entertainment includes several epic battles and awesome moments, but only very few of them actually had historical importance for the company’s history.

After FOX Sports asked on Twitter about the most important match in WWE history, Old School WWF Legend Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, who’s currently the #1 actor in Hollywood, answered by naming a match that did in fact not involve him nor any member of his famous Samoan Dynasty family.

Here’s what The Most Electrifying Man In Sports Entertainment tweeted:

“Great pro wrestling question!

Hulk Hogan vs Iron Sheik. NYC. 1984.

Madison Square Garden.

Seminal match with massive historic implications – and a legitimate bounty thrown in the mix.”

Of course The Iron Sheik’s Twitter account replied right away. Sheik’s accounts are run by his social media team.

Here’s what they posted:

“ROCKY BUBBA YOU SAID IT PERFECT. YOU ARE THE INTELLIGENT MAN. I MAKE THE HULKAMANIA THE HULKAMANIA”
