• Old School WWF Tag Team Veteran Celebrates His Birthday
Old School WWF Tag Team Veteran D-Von Dudley (Real name: Devon Hughes) celebrates his 48th birthday today.
In early 1996, D-Von joined his (kayfabe) half-brother Bubba Ray Dudley, with whom he formed a Tag Team, that eventually surpassed the Dudley Boyz faction and ultimately became one of the most famous Tag Teams in professional wrestling history.
In 1999, they jumped ship to the World Wrestling Federation and stayed until 2005, after which they joined Total Nonstop Action! (now known as iMPACT Wrestling).
The Dudley Boyz won pretty much all major World Tag Team Championships that are out there, including the titles of the World Wrestling Federation, Extreme Championship Wrestling, World Championship Wrestling (on WWF TV during the Invasion storyline), the National Wrestling Alliance (in TNA), Total Nonstop Action! and New Japan Pro Wrestling.
