• The Rock’s Reaction To Dream Match With Roman Reigns Being Teased On “Young Rock”
WWE has been trying to book The Rock vs. Roman Reigns at WrestleMania for the last year few years, but Rock’s schedule and the COVID-19 pandemic have prevented that from happening.
WrestleMania 39, also known as WrestleMania Hollywood, could be the perfect place to book the final match of Hollywood Megastar Dwayne Johnson.
On an episode of Young Rock in April 2022, a scene from 1996 was shown, where The Rock and his family were watching the Royal Rumble and that’s when a young Roman tried to put Rock in a headlock and wanted to wrestle him.
Rock said the world is not ready and such a big match can only happen at WrestleMania.
Reigns also wanted someone to Samoan Drop him, but no one paid attention to his wish and he then looked at the camera and said “Acknowledge Me!”.

During an interview with Wrestlinginc, former WWE Writer Brian Gewirtz (who is also a Writer & Producer on Young Rock) had the following to say when asked about The Rock’s reaction to this Dream Match being teased on the show:
“I remember running it by Dwayne and he said, ‘I don’t know if the match is going to happen.’ Maybe it does or maybe it doesn’t, but it’s certainly a cool moment in the ‘Young Rock’ universe.
If it does happen, then you know that little clip is going to be in the big video package so it works either way. That’s how I see it.”
