• WWE’s Current Plan For The WrestleMania 39 Main Event

WrestleMania 39 is scheduled to take place at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California on April 1 & 2, 2023.

Since this WrestleMania is also being promoted as “WrestleMania Hollywood”, fans are expecting one name to be a big part of this event – Hollywood Megastar & WWF Legend Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE officials are planning to book The Rock vs. Roman Reigns as the main event of Night 2:

“It’s the plan. It’s 100% the plan for [next] year. But the idea is, it’s the plan if [The Rock] can do it.

We’re still months away, months and months away. So many opportunities and things like that may come up that are far more important than WrestleMania.”

A few months ago, a report came out that The Rock currently doesn’t have any movie commitments lined up during the WrestleMania 39 season, which would make him available for the biggest WWE event of 2023.

The last match The Rock competed in was an impromptu match that took place at WrestleMania 32 in 2016, where he defeated Erick Rowan of The Wyatt Family in just 6 seconds.

The Great One had his last proper match in WWE at WrestleMania 29 in 2013, where he lost the WWE Championship to John Cena.

WWE has wanted to do Rock vs. Reigns for many years now, and this match was even teased during an episode of “Young Rock”.

• Old School WWF Diva Celebrates Her Birthday

Old School WWF Attitude Era Diva Sable (Rena Mero, now Rena Lesnar) celebrates her 55th birthday today.

Sable joined the World Wrestling Federation in 1996 as the valet of Hunter Hearst Helmsley, but was soon (in storyline) saved by her then real-life husband “Wildman” Marc Mero, after HHH treated her real bad.

Later during the Attitude Era Sable turned from a valet to a professional wrestler and even won the WWF Women’s Championship and eventually became the cover girl for Hugh Hefner’S famous magazine Playboy.

She became the first woman ever to be given 2 Playboy-covers in the same year (April & September 1999).
