• The Undertaker Explains Why He Still Wrestles, Reveals His Current Status

The premiere episode of Broken Skull Sessions with The Undertaker as the special guest aired on the WWE Network after Survivor Series 2019 went off the air.

During this program, The Undertaker talked about his physical health and why he continues to wrestles even when he doesn’t need to.

Taker says he feels physically battered after his matches since 2010, but it’s all worth it.

He then noted that he mostly wrestles nowadays because Vince McMahon asks for a favour and he does it because he hasn’t forgotten who gave him a chance in the company.

Taker said his WrestleMania 33 ‘retirement’ ceremony was worth more than any speech he could do. He thought it was the end, but he got talked into coming back.

Taker noted it’s his pride that got him to return earlier this year at Extreme Rules 2019 PPV because he wouldn’t let a bad night at the office be the last thing that people remember (referring to his match with Goldberg at WWE Super ShowDown 2019 in Saudi Arabia).

Austin then asked Taker about his current status and Taker said ‘regardless of anything, I’m gonna write my own story and my own ending’.

Taker said what gets him is when people tell him what to do when they haven’t been in his shoes and haven’t had the journey that he has had.
