3. Dean Ambrose Shows Signs Of Heel Turn
On this week’s Raw, Paul Heyman talked about how Roman Reigns would have to leave his friendship with Dean Ambrose behind in order to succeed and headline WrestleMania 32. Reigns then talked about facing Ambrose before and defeating him.
Reigns was then attacked by Dudley Boyz and this led to Dean Ambrose making the save. After sending the Dudleys out of the ring, Ambrose tried to hook Reigns for Dirty Deeds but quickly released him, thus sending a clear message to Reigns that he needs to improve his gameplan.
2. Jim Ross Gives His Thoughts on Titus O’Neil’s Suspension
WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross wrote the following about WWE suspending Titus O’Neil for 60 days:
The controversial suspension of Titus O’Neil by WWE last week for ‘unprofessional conduct’ still hs many folks scratching their head. I can’t render a clear cut opinion based on the brief video clip that was floating around for a while plus I’ve talked to no one about the matter that would know any substantive information. I’ve never known Titus to be a problem and actually he’s one of WWE’s most willing participants when it comes to volunteer and charity work.
I only wonder, in hindsight, how this matter would have been adjudicated if the decision regarding punishment was delayed until the next day when all parties had a night to sleep on this matter. I have heard that Titus was fined in the neighborhood of 5K for his conduct plus a 60 day suspension. One has to wonder if this punishment was also utilized to get the attention of the entire roster especially if some talents were thought to be becoming to lax in their approach to their job.
Could this have been a matter where too many talents are relaxing in their comfort zones which is the proverbial ‘kiss of death’ in any organization? That’s 100% speculation on my behalf by the way. At the end of the day, I hope that Titus O’Neil is able to find his way back into the good graces with the powers that be and can resume his WWE career.
