As we noted before, The Undertaker will be appearing at Starrcast II during All Elite Wrestling’s Double Or Nothing weekend.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Vince McMahon isn’t happy with The Deadman’s decision to appear at Starrcast II.

Below is what Meltzer said during Wrestling Observer Radio:

“A whole bunch of things have happened in the last week and one of them is whole Undertaker/Vince dynamic, but it had Vince off and because you know there was definite unhappiness about him doing the Starrcast thing and you know why. So there’s that.

It’s not that The Undertaker isn’t on the WrestleMania card yet as far as I know, but everything changed. They don’t want the perception. They’re not happy about that (Starrcast) thing and they want him…I don’t know that they want him on the WrestleMania card, but I know there’s talk of Undertaker on the card, but it’s not like there’s a match set up or anything.

It’s one of those things where they’re trying to put something together. Everything is in flux.

I thought, ‘Oh The Undertaker’s just signing autographs at Starrcast’, but it’s a way bigger deal to Vince. The whole idea of you know, Undertaker’s special to Vince and you know, yeah it didn’t go down well with him at all.”

In an update to this situation, Brad Shepard is reporting that The Undertaker is trying to get a better deal from WWE.

Taker knows that other WWE stars are getting more money with their new contracts. WWE has a lot of money coming in from the new TV deals for RAW & SmackDown and the Saudi Arabia PPV money as well (The Undertaker is a vital part of this Saudi Arabia deal as the Saudi Officials are big fans of Old School wrestlers and The Undertaker is the biggest legend that still wrestles in WWE).

Word going on is that The Undertaker agreed to the Starrcast II appearance to make Vince give him a better deal (it was recently reported that Taker’s wrestling contract with WWE has come to an end) and an appearance (and even a match) from The Phenom at WrestleMania 35 is still possible.
