• Old School WCW Manager Celebrates His Birthday

Old School WCW Manager Sonny Onoo (Real name: Kazuo Sonny Onoo) celebrates his 58th birthday today.

Most Old School Wrestling fans remember Sonny Onoo as a manager, who worked for Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling from 1995 till 1999.

Onoo managed several WCW Wrestlers, such as Bull Nakano, Masahiro Chono, The Último Dragón, The Great Muta, Akira Hokuto, Ernest Miller.

After he was fired from WCW, he launched a lawsuit against AOL Time Warner (WCW’s parent company at that time), which was settled out of court.

• The Undertaker Makes First Appearance On WWE Programming After Retirement

On today’s ‘Bumpy Awards’ edition of WWE’s The Bump, the results for the awards were revealed and The Undertaker vs. AJ Styles in a Boneyard match at WrestleMania 36 was voted the best cinematic match of the half-year.

The Undertaker made a surprise appearance on the show to celebrate his win. This was his first appearance on any kind of WWE programming since his retirement announcement on the final episode of The Last Ride.

Below is what he said:

“It’s The Undertaker. I guess the WWE Universe has spoken. You guys have made the Boneyard match the best cinematic match of the year so far, can’t thank you guys enough. Also, I need to thank all the guys that work behind the scenes to make that match happen, all the guys that did the sets and everyone that worked cameras and pulled cables and built and tore down and just put their all hard work.

You guys are the real ones that deserve this award. I can’t thank you guys enough. I guess I need to thank AJ Styles as well for calling me out and talking a little trash and making that happen, but I’m just so happy that you guys have voted and you guys made the Boneyard match the best cinematic match of the year so far. Guys, thank you and we’ll see you down the road.”
