Below are some top news stories of the day, involving The Undertaker, Logan Paul and Elias.
• On his Six Feet Under podcast, WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker said he’d like to see current wrestlers improve their in-ring storytelling skills, which will help them save their body from injuries.
Here’s what The Deadman said:
“These guys are so athletic, off the chart athleticism, they go out there and they give 110% every time on TV and everything like that.
I just wish, if they can get a little bit more aspect of the storytelling, they’ll realize that they won’t have to take as many chances with their body.
Maybe they don’t want it because they have seen me walk backstage and maybe they don’t want 30 years, but, I think the careers if they don’t learn storytelling aspect a little bit better they’re going to continue to rely on the athleticism and then more injuries come.
I’ve had enough injuries, it just sucks so bad.”
• United States Champion Logan Paul has become the first WWE Superstar to compete in 9 PPV / PLE matches before competing in his first ever RAW/SmackDown match.
In his first ever TV match this past Friday on SmackDown, Logan defeated The Miz to qualify for the Men’s Elimination Chamber match.
• Elias got released from WWE last year. Now known as Elijah, he wrestled at Saturday night’s REVOLVER event.
This was his first match since his release from WWE. He faced TNA wrestler “Speedball” Mike Bailey.
Although Elijah lost the match, the fans were impressed with his performance.
