• The Undertaker’s Former Manager Wasn’t Invited To His WWE Hall Of Fame Induction

During a recent interview with WrestlingInc, Old School WCW/WWF Manager Teddy Long revealed that he was not invited to The Undertaker’s WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony on April 1, 2022.

Keep in mind that not only did Long manage him back in Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling when The Undertaker wrestled as ‘Mean’ Mark Callous (1990), but several years later, when Teddy was the General Manager of the WWE SmackDown! brand, he would often show up on stage and confront a heel wrestler by saying something along the lines of “and for that you will go one on one with The Undertaker”.

Here’s what Theodore R. Long had to say:

“I managed Undertaker before he was ever Undertaker. He was Mean Mark Callous.

I’m just saying to you, like I said, didn’t bother me. I don’t care. Because I know this business and I know that there are people that didn’t want me there, and I know who those people are. So, I’m just saying to you, how do you miss that?”

Teddy Long worked for Jim Crockett Promotions (NWA) and later Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling (WCW) from 1985 to 1996 and then for the World Wrestling Federation (later WWE) from 1998 till 2014.

For both promotions, he worked as both a Referee as well as a Manager, but only in WWE he eventually became a General Manager in 2004, when he became the GM of the SmackDown! brand, a position he held until 2012.
