• The Young Bucks Take A Jab At Vince McMahon’s Plan For A Former WWE Tag Team
Before FTR (fka The Revival) got released from WWE, a plan to repackage them into comedy characters was leaked online. It was confirmed by Cash Wheeler that the idea was 100% legit, and him and Dax Harwood were in a meeting about it with Vince McMahon and Bruce Prichard.
The Young Bucks posted one of their old tweets about facing FTR (they are the AEW World Tag Team Champions right now) on Twitter, to which Dax Harwood replied:
“Thank God we spent thousands of dollars to get out of our contracts to come to your show just to make this happen….because you were always too afraid to come to us [in WWE].”
Bucks then posted a parody they did of the gimmick Vince McMahon had planned for the rival.
“Well, if we went there [to WWE], you guys [FTR] would’ve looked like this…”
