• There Is No WWE PPV In December This Year, Reason Behind It

WWE has canceled their December 12th pay-per-view, which was scheduled to be the annual WWE TLC PPV.

Here’s what Fightful Select reported:

“When we asked the reason why, sources indicated that the reason could be the proximity to the January 1 WWE PPV, which was a show spearheaded by Nick Khan.

We’re told the plan to have no December PPV was made well over a month ago and internal calendars had been updated accordingly.”

‘WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs’ used to be the annual December PPV from the inaugural event in 2009 until 2016 and again from 2018 till 2020.

Only the 2017 event took place in October, while the December 2017 PPV was ‘WWE Clash of Champions’.

WWE will kick off 2022 with “WWE Day 1” pay-per-view on January 1st.
