• “There is smoke to the fire” – Stone Cold Steve Austin’s WrestleMania 39 Status

We recently reported that there are ongoing talks between WWF Legend Stone Cold Steve Austin and WWE’s Chief Content Officer Triple H regarding The Texas Rattlesnake coming out of retirement again for yet another match at ‘WrestleMania 39: Hollywood’.

Stone Cold – who wrestled his first match in 19 years at this year’s WrestleMania 38, where he defeated Kevin Owens – could main event (or co-main event) the first night on April 1st 2023, if in fact they can get The Rock to challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in the planned dream match as the main event for the second night of the event on April 2nd.

The Wrestling Observer reported the following about Austin’s situation:

“There has been a lot of talk in recent weeks that Steve Austin would be willing to do another match at WrestleMania next year.

All we know for sure is that there is smoke to the fire and something is in the discussion phase. The ideas being discussed internally that are being kept secret.”
