• There’s A Chance That Austin Theory Loses His Money In The Bank Contract To Top RAW Star

There was a time when there was a 100% guarantee that the Money In The Bank winner is going to become a World Champion.

However, that’s not the case anymore. Not only can the winner fail to win the Title during his cash-in attempt, he can also lose the contract to some other wrestler (like it has happened before with Mr. Kennedy & Otis).

At last night’s WWE Sunday Stunner Live Event at the Oakland Arena in Oakland, California, Mr. Money In The Bank Austin Theory lost to Bobby Lashley in a United States Championship match.

After the match, Kevin Owens challenged Theory to a match with the MITB contract on the line, but Theory refused. Owens then hit him with a Stunner.

WWE tries their upcoming ideas at Live Events before they do it on TV, so it’s possible that Owens will soon challenge Theory for the MITB contract on RAW.

With Vince McMahon no longer being in-charge, new Head Of Creative Triple H might cool down a little on Theory’s mega push, and there’s a chance that Owens gets booked to defeat Theory to become the new Mr. Money In The Bank.
