WWE did two Sunday Stunner Live Events last night. Below are the results from the SmackDown event they did in Cedar Rapids, Iowa:
– Shinsuke Nakamura def. Jinder Mahal
– Raquel Rodriguez def. Shayna Baszler
– Gunther def. Drew Gulak
– Aliyah def. Shotzi
– Ricochet (c) def. Sami Zayn to retain the Intercontinental Championship
– The Usos (c) def. Viking Raiders, Butch & Ridge Holland (with Sheamus) and Los Lotharios in a Fatal 4 Way match to retain the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship
– Roman Reigns (c) def. Drew McIntyre to retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship
After the main event, Reigns cut a promo and confirmed that he’s going to be working fewer Live Events from now on, and that tonight’s event might have been his last Sunday Live Event.
Below is what The Tribal Chief said:
“From the bottom of my heart, I appreciate all of you. I obviously had the Internet talking last week or the week before that. I’m not going to be doing too many live events like these, on Sundays, going forward. So, this could be my last one.”
