Below are the complete results from tonight’s WWE SmackDown:
– United States Champion Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar of The LWO appeared on The Grayson Waller Effect.
Grayson Waller accused Rey of stealing Escobar’s Title match and said that the 2023 WWE Hall of Famer doesn’t want to pass the torch.
Escobar said he gave Mysterio his blessing to compete in his place and that the only person he’s mad at is Austin Theory, before attacking him.
Theory came out. He called Adam Pearce to the ring and demanded that he overturn Mysterio’s win from last week, and give him back the United States Title.
LA Knight interrupted and challenges Theory to a match. Pearce made it official and announced that the winner will face Rey for the US Title.

– Austin Theory def. LA Knight to become the #1 Contender for the United States Championship after The Miz provided a distraction
– Pre-taped interviews aired where multiple superstars congratulated Edge on his 25th anniversary in WWE, including John Cena, Rey Mysterio, Kurt Angle, Cody Rhodes, Sheamus, Natalya, The Miz, Charlotte Flair and Sami Zayn.
– Charlotte Flair & Bianca Belair def. Damage CTRL (WWE Women’s Champion IYO SKY & Bayley)
– Bianca Belair was getting interviewed by Cathy Kelley backstage and Damage CTRL brutally assaulted her and further injured her already injured knee.
– The Street Profits def. Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson
Bobby Lashley came out after the match and congratulated Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins.
– Kayla Braxton asked Paul Heyman for an update on The Bloodline and he refused. Kayla said she has been hearing a lot of rumors. This led to Heyman going after Kayla’s family.
Heyman got a phone call and he then revealed that Jimmy Uso will appear on next week’s SmackDown.
– WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix is at ringside for her husband Edge’s last match of his current WWE contract.

Both men hugged after the match and Beth was seen getting emotional at ringside.
After SmackDown went off air, Edge cut an emotional promo and confirmed that this was the last time he wrestled in his hometown of Toronto.
Below is what he said:
“What I can say is this is my last time in front of you all. I don’t think that I can make another full year here again for a match. I’m just being honest with ya. But don’t let that be a downer… ’cause man what an experience you all gave me. I will never forget it. I will never forget it.”
