7. Jeremy Borash Says He Knows Who Suggested WWE Officials To Copy TNA’s Final Deletion Idea
As soon as TNA did the Final Deletion match between Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy, WWE immediately produced their version of it by booking the Wyatt Family & The New Day in a brawl at the Wyatt Family compound.
There was no doubt that WWE copied TNA’s idea (which helped TNA get their highest Impact Wrestling viewership on POP TV). TNA’s Jeremy Borash noted during an appearance on Wrestling Observer Live that he knew who within WWE told the officials to copy TNA’s idea and below is what he said:
“Well I can’t divulge what I actually know, but you’re dead-on and the fact it was done, I actually know who suggested it and who got it on, who made it. If you compare the numbers in terms of budget and effectiveness or whatever, I’ll just say I watched it with a smile on my face the entire time.”
