1. Kurt Angle’s Brother Sentenced To 2.5 to 10 Years In Prison For Killing Wife
Pittsburgh Post-Gazette is reporting that former WWF Champion & TNA Hall of Famer’s brother was sentenced to 2.5 to 10 years in prison for killing his wife last year in September. Below is what they reported:
[/showhide]David Angle, the brother of Olympian and professional wrestler Kurt Angle, had pleaded guilty in June to one count of voluntary manslaughter.
Angle, 63, was sentenced by Allegheny County Common Pleas Judge Donna Jo McDaniel in the death of Donna Angle on Sept. 20, 2015.
According to the prosecution, Angle told police that on the morning of Sept. 20, 2015, he and his wife had a domestic dispute. He called 911 at 6:22 a.m. and said, “‘she was smacking me, I was smacking her. She fell on the floor. I had my knee on her chest, not long but long enough I guess. I tried to revive her and I can’t get her back. This has been 10 minutes.’ ”
The medical examiner’s office determined that Ms. Angle died from asphyxiation.
