Eric Young recently shared his thoughts on the new Netflix docuseries about Vince McMahon during an appearance on the HUGE POP! podcast with Donnie DaSilva and Jimmy Korderas.
Young commented on the series, pointing out that viewers shouldn’t be surprised by its content given Netflix’s relationship with WWE.
“I don’t know what people were expecting (from Netflix’s Vince McMahon docuseries),” Young said.
“Netflix is married to the WWE… His legacy will be part of that company as long as it exists.
At one time, I would say in my personal opinion, [he was] a genius and maybe the greatest promoter living.
[But] he lost his way along the way, obviously.”
Though Young hasn’t watched the series, he mentioned that people told him it’s not the most flattering portrayal of McMahon.
However, Young isn’t shocked by the content, adding, “The stuff on there is stuff that’s been talked about before. So, yeah, it’s no news to me.”
