• On This Day In Wrestling History (July 30, 2001) – Old School NWA President Passes Away

On this day in 2001, we lost Old School NWA President Dennis Coralluzzo at the age of 48 due to bleeding in the brain.

Coralluzzo was the president & a board member of the National Wrestling Alliance from 1993 till 1999.

He was seen on ECW TV in 1994, where he was interviewed after Shane Douglas threw down the NWA world Heavyweight Championship belt and rejected the title, but some WWF fans might also remember him from appearing on RAW IS WAR in 1998, where he presented the NWA North American Heavyweight Championship, a title that was won by “Double J” Jeff Jarrett a few minutes later.

• Seth Rollins Asked If He Would Leave WWE For Hollywood

During a recent interview with The Hindu, former Universal Champion Seth Rollins was asked if he would leave WWE for a career in Hollywood.

Below is what Rollins said:

“I’ve acted in a WWE production earlier and enjoyed it.. Look, I’m a wrestler fore and foremost and that’s what I want to focus on. If any interesting opportunities from Hollywood come my way, I’d be glad to take it up. But my priority is the WWE and making the brand bigger than ever.”

• Tommaso Ciampa’s Return Date Revealed

According to Fightful, former NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa’s return date is said to be mid-August.

This could mean that Ciampa could make an appearance at NXT TakeOver: Toronto II.

Ciampa has been out of action with a neck injury and he has been teasing going after NXT Champion Adam Cole when he returns.
