Tony Khan recently revealed that he hasn’t watched the Netflix documentary about WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.
In an interview with Quinn & Cantara, Khan explained that his busy schedule with both football and wrestling has left him little time for such content.
“No, I’ve been so busy with football and wrestling that I have not seen that documentary.
I’ve not gotten to watch that.
I’m mostly focused here on what we’re doing in AEW,” Khan said.
When one of the hosts acknowledged McMahon’s contributions to wrestling, Khan shared that he has never met McMahon or worked with him, though he respects his role in the industry.
“I’ve never met him and have never really worked with him.
I have grown up as a wrestling fan and historian of the pro wrestling business, so absolutely, we love being the challenger promotion and trying to grow and build AEW from the ground up.
It’s only been five years and we’ve done a lot in that time.”
As AEW marks its fifth anniversary of Dynamite, Khan remains focused on growing his company while McMahon faces ongoing federal investigations, adding more layers to his controversial legacy.
