AEW President Tony Khan has been running wild on Twitter due to AEW Dynamite going head-to-head with WWE NXT this past Tuesday night.
He got personal with WWE Executive Chairman Vince McMahon, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H and NXT Head Of Creative Shawn Michaels by taking multiple shots at them.
NXT defeated AEW in the ratings war as WWE’s third brand drew 921,000 viewers with a 0.30 rating in the 18-49 demo, while Dynamite drew 603,000 viewers with a 0.26 rating in the 18-49 demo.
After this news came out, Khan started taking more shots at WWE and was also arguing with some WWE fans on Twitter.
One fan stated that the AEW President does not have the right to take shots at WWE because he is still new in the pro wrestling industry, while Vince McMahon has the earned the right to do so because he has been in the industry for over 40 years:
“The difference is that Vince has the power and influence to take them cheap shots. He’s earned the right to make them. Tony Khan is Vince if you order him from Temu. You can ‘shop like a billionaire’ but you’ll get the cheapest tat doing so!”
Khan replied to that fan and took a shot at McMahon again for the allegations of sexual misconduct made against him in June 2022:
“Yes. Vince has allegedly used his power and influence to shoot a lot of shots.”
