On last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross accidentally called AEW World Champion Kenny Omega the “WWE Champion” on commentary.

On the Dynamite post-show, AEW commentator Tony Schiavone was asked about this slip-up from JR and here’s what Tony said:
“Why did he call him that? Because he made a mistake. And you have to keep moving forward when you make a mistake. I hope you get that. If you don’t, that’s why.”

On this day in Pro Wrestling history on February 18, 2001, Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling aired ‘WCW SuperBrawl Revenge’ LIVE on PPV from the Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee.
This was the last out of a total of 11 annual SuperBrawl pay-per-views, and it had the tagline: “A Path Of Destruction…A Night Of Vengeance”.
