7. nWo 2000 / WCW United States Champion
One Night after WCW Starrcade 1999, on December 20, 1999 Jeff Jarrett defeated Chris Benoit to become the new WCW United States Champion.
Later that same night, Bret Hitman Hart turned Heel and formed a new version of the New World Order, dubbed as nWo 2000.
Jeff Jarrett joined Bret Hart’s stable that night, among Kevin Nash, Scott Hall & Scott Steiner.
A little later, in early 2000, the Hitman had to retire, Nash & Hall were injured and Steiner was suspended after bashing the company on a live microphone during Nitro, so the nWo 2000 stable was only represented by Jeff Jarrett who ultimately became the leader, and his bodyguards The Harris Brothers.
The stable quietly disbanded with the Bischoff/Russo ‘WCW Re-Boot’ in April.
