10. Shawn Michaels Turns Down Major WrestleMania 32 Offer

On the recent “An Evening with Jim Ross” show, co-host & WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels revealed huge news regarding WrestleMania 32. Shawn revealed that WWE offered him a major role at next year’s WrestleMania 32, but he turned it down. Michaels said he has enough left in the tank but feels he has accomplished everything in WWE. HBK said he has had enough of Pro-Wrestling.

Shawn Michaels last match was at WrestleMania 26 against The Undertaker. That match was a “Streak vs. Career” match, which Micheals lost and had to retire. Shawn Michaels has appeared in many roles on WWE TV since then, most notably as a special guest referee (WrestleMania 28, Hell in a Cell 2013). His latest WWE appearance was at WrestleMania 31 when he interefered in Triple H – Sting match and hit Sting with a Sweet Chin Music.

Since WWE wants to create a new all time WWE attendance record at next year’s WrestleMania 32 at AT&T Stadium, WWE officials are looking to bring in almost every legend who still has it. We’ve noted in the past that Vince McMahon wants Stone Cold Steve Austin at WrestleMania 32, but that likely won’t be in a wrestling role. The Rock is expected to work WrestleMania 32.
