– Adam Copeland aka Edge (c) def. Matt Cardona aka Zack Ryder in an Open Challenge match to retain the TNT Championship
This was Cardona’s return to AEW, as he had a short run in the company back in 2020.

After the match, the lights went out and Malakai Black was standing in the ring when they came back on. Buddy Matthews attacked Copeland from behind.
This led to Mark Briscoe coming out to make the save, but Black & Matthews took him out. Eddie Kingston then came out to make the save. Copeland and Briscoe got up to fight as well. The lights went out and House of Black escaped.
– AEW World Trios Champion Billy Gunn said he is angry at Jay White for breaking into his home and challenged him to a match on next week’s Dynamite.
– FTR def. The Infantry to advance to the next round of the AEW World Tag Team Championship Tournament
– Kyle O’Reilly def. JD Drake
– TNT Champion Adam Copeland, Eddie Kingston & Mark Briscoe challenged the House of Black to a match at AEW Dynasty.
– Top Flight def. Ricky Starks & Big Bill aka Big Cass to advance to the next round of the AEW World Tag Team Championship Tournament
– Thunder Rosa def. Lady Frost
After the match, “Timeless” Toni Storm was informed that Rosa will face Mariah May next week, with the winner becoming the new #1 Contender for her AEW Women’s World Championship.
Toni kissed Mariah for getting to this point and said she sees herself in her, and she loves herself.
